Read a Chapter From My New Book

A cross is a dangerous thing-despised, hated, and rejected. Today, forces are at work to strip the cross from public venues and to minimize its significance in our public lives. Christians must stand up against these attacks and defend the cross as a symbol of the love and grace of God toward man.

In my new book, When the Crosses are Gone, I provide a diagnosis of the insanity of the current culture and a prescription for restoring sanity to a world gone mad.

The book will be released at the end of this month, but my blog readers can read the first chapter today!

Read Chapter One

You also have the opportunity to purchase the book for a pre-order price of $12.00.

I'm glad you wrote this, Dr. Youssef. I'm a Missouri Synod Lutheran. Our church was badly shaken when one of our district presidents participated at Yankee Stadium and made only a tepid witness to his Christian faith.

You're right--only the Armenian was clear in his Christian witness, though our district president did make his prayer in the name of Jesus.

It does not follow that because we do not subsidize smoking, we should not regulate unhealthy activities. Costs and savings are not the only variable. The fact that obesity creates costs is merely an additional reason to regulate it, not the only one. The main reason is its danger to an individual. You are dismissive of subsidizing smoking precisely because of this moral intuition. hivxng hivxng - Cheap North Face.
